    We are welcoming back The Great British Drive In from April till June!

    This spring, Sandon Hall will welcome back The Great British Drive In who have created an experience to entertain, educate and unite. With Covid- 19 restrictions still in place The Great British Drive In will run on select date until the 6th of June 2021 with a varied programme for all to enjoy. Tickets start from as little as £17.50!

    We have a varied film programme from Hollywood titles such as The Greatest Showman to family favourites like Harry Potter. Who wouldn't enjoy 1917 or Jurassic park on the big screen, viewed in the local, beautiful grounds of Sandon Hall? And we haven't forgot horror fans, with showings of The Shining starting after dark.

    Digbeth Dining Club will be here from to provide delicious food and drink! Pizza will also be available to. You are more than welcome to bring your own food and drink and set up an alfresco dining experience outside of your car, just remember to bring a portable radio and a blanket!

    The Great British Drive In will celebrate the acts of kindness shown, the sense of community that has grown and provide an enjoyable experience for all, and if Christmas films aren't your thing be sure to check out the other films on offer!

    Private House & Garden Tour with Afternoon Tea Gift Experience

    Treat your loved one to an amazing experience at Sandon Hall

    Sandon Hall remains the private ancestral home of the Earls of Harrowby, so the opportunity to see behind its grand doors are few and far between. The Harrowby family are opening their doors and inviting visitors to do just that – with private tours of both the 1852 house and its stunning gardens now available - the perfect present for a loved one or a treat for yourself!

    Guests will be able to purchase vouchers for up to six people, redeemable on selected dates in 2021. Afternoon tea is included in your booking for you to enjoy after your tour has completed. Upgrade to Sparkling Afternoon Tea available at £5 per person Please give us a call to purchase a voucher.

    The house tour will offer a glimpse into elegant country house interiors and regale the history of the hall which the family that has called it home for over 200 years. Historical highlights to include the story of the stunning Chinese wallpaper in the Drawing Room, which pre-dates the current hall by around 100 years. It will also tell of dramatic events – such the disastrous Christmas dinner that led to the hall burning down in the 1840s; and the rather morbid tale behind the portrait of a Prime Minister that graces the Dining Room.

    One of our team, will be on hand to provide a guided walk around the 50 acre grounds; explaining their history. Learn about the seasonal work undertaken to ensure they reach their full glory in time for the summer wedding season.

    Wellington boots or walking shoes are advised for the garden tour as it may well be soft underfoot, dependant on the weather.

    Flower Power Plant Fair August 2021

    Flower Power Plant Fair is coming to Sandon Hall on the 1st of August 2021.

    The forecourt will be full of fabulous stalls selling rare and unusual plants with the seller bursting full of knowledge of how to properly care for your new purchases. It is a fabulous opportunity to 'Buy British" as 90% of the plants being brought along was homegrown in the UK.

    You will also have the opportunity to meander around the 50 acres of Sandon's Sleeping gardens and explore dedicated conservation areas, rose gardens and areas of formal planting.

    Admission is £4 and please pay on the gate.

    *Unfortunately we do not allow dogs.
